who we are

Wingspan Creative Communications is a partnership between artist/programmer/husband Robin Crouch and writer/editor/wife Lori Cameron.

Robin graduated from York University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in visual art and began his on-the-job training in programming soon after for one of Canada’s major newspapers. Lori also graduated from York in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and was edging into freelance writing for magazines, but the births of three children within four years kept her otherwise occupied for a while.

After a move to Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, Robin and Lori took a long, hard look at one another and realized they would be good business partners: Robin is creative, patient and has an incomparable eye for design; Lori is articulate, organized and has an intuitive sense for what should be added to or, more commonly, subtracted from any given document.

By combining their strengths and working together, Robin and Lori have created custom websites, databases, brochures, business cards, letterhead, invoices, receipts, posters, programs, flyers and newspaper ads for a variety of clients, big and small.
